Trauma Support

Traumatic events can happen at any time. In the workplace these include accidents, deaths, violence, destruction of plant or property, or natural disasters.

In a crisis, an unprepared workplace faces increased risks of lost productivity, stress and morale issues, and poorly implemented emergency plans.

Seed’s Trauma Support uses recognised protocols and procedures that prepare for and respond to any traumatic situation. Seed’s Critical Incident Responders are trained under an international curriculum (ICISF, CISMFA). Seed’s Trauma Manager is accredited & registered with these professional bodies as an internationally recognised trainer in Critical Incident Response.

This service recognises that people’s responses and perceptions of events can differ and establishes a system whereby assistance can be readily obtained.

Seed offers strategies to deal with, and support recovery from, traumatic events - resulting in a faster return to a productive workplace.

Seed Trauma Support services include direct support to those affected by trauma, consultancy, policy planning and development, and training for staff and counsellors.
