David Rodgers – Acting Chief Executive

David joined Seed in 2003, bringing over 15 years of management and administrative experience to the organisation.
He draws on his particular strengths in strategic leadership, planning and policy development, relationship management, quality improvement and administrative processes and systems to ensure that Seed's clients not only receive the level of high-quality service they've come to expect, but that Seed continues to position itself ahead of the trend in employee assistance and workplace well-being.
Prior to joining Seed, David had extensive experience in pastoral care, facilities management, hospital and rest home management.
David is committed to ensuring Seed continues to provide high quality services that reflect the professional expectations of current and future clients.
Carol Galloway - Manager Psychological Services
Carol manages the nationwide delivery team of counsellors, psychologists and career coaches. Her role also includes providing direct, hands-on advice to managers dealing with difficult employee assistance issues.
Carol is an experienced facilitator, coach, manager and registered celebrant. Her experience ranges from support services for the disabled through to multinational human resource consultancies.
Carol works to ensure Seed’s psychological services are user-friendly, electronically accessible, responsive and dynamic for clients everywhere.
She has a BA in Psychology and a Master of Education with a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling. She is an associate member of NZAC, an executive member of the Celebrants Association and currently chairs the Wellington Celebrants Association Branch.
Sandra Johnston – Client Relationship Manager/Trauma Support Manager
Sandra has been with Seed for over 20 years. Based in Auckland she is responsible managing our clients in the North. In addition she also Manages Seed's Trauma Support services.
Sandra’s experience includes people care services, client management and ten years of delivering and managing the Seed Trauma Support Service nationwide.
Supporting organisations and staff during crises is Sandra's passion. Her team of responders are able to provide Psychological First Aid of a quality that is, and will continue to be, recognised within the international world of CISM.
Sandra is keen to further develop Seeds research to supply empirical data to organisations engaged in Trauma work, social justice and change. Sandra holds diplomas in Education and Clinical Supervision and is certified in Critical Incident Response and Training of responders. She is also member of the Australian Critical Incident Stress Association.
Carolyn Hughes – Client Relationships Manager
Carolyn is responsible for managing Seed clients in the South Island and has been with Seed for 3 years.
Carolyn has extensive international experience in business and trade development and prior to joining Seed was Trade Commissioner for the Australian Embassy in Beijing. She has also worked as a broadcaster, journalist and with the United Nations Commission for refugees based in London.
Carolyn is passionate about contributing to communities to strengthen the economic, family and environmental wellbeing of people. She sees Seeds work with the workplace and employees as a valuable resource for achieving that.
She has degrees in International Relations, economics and political science and Chinese Language from studies in the UK, Australia and France.
