CISM Awareness Training: Group Crisis Intervention

Seed is pleased to offer Group Crisis Intervention training as part of our Critical Incident Stress Management expertise.

This 2-day programme presents the core elements of a comprehensive, systematic crisis intervention curriculum.

Participants will develop an understanding of a wide range of crisis intervention services, including:

Crisis education (pre and post incident)
Crisis intervention for individuals
Demobilisation & Crisis Management Briefings following small & large scale incidents
Small group Defusing and Debriefing
Appropriate follow-up & referral processes.

Participants will be taught internationally accepted protocols for post incident support, equipping them to provide these directly before referral on to qualified therapeutic intervention. This training is ideal for counsellors and psychologists wishing to extend their expertise in CISM.

Auckland: 30 & 31 March 2010
Wellington: 29 & 30 April 2010
